2 Paris Photo Spots (That Aren't Overdone or Boring)
I recently went to Paris for the second time, spaced several years apart. It’s safe to say that Paris is now one of my favorite cities on the European continent, and France in general (after revisiting the French Riviera) has jumped up quite a few ranks as one of my favorite countries to visit in the summertime.
What made Paris so magical this time around? I’m not quite sure! Maybe it was the friends I went with, maybe it was the recommendations we got for cocktail bars and restaurants from a local, maybe it was less emphasis on doing touristic activities and more enjoying being in this lovely city - or a combination of all of the above. Whatever it was, Paris was a good idea and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
Like every good travel blogger ;) I knew I had to get some nice photos for the blog, social media, and the mems (some photos are only for fun/memories and never leave the camera roll!) -
If you are looking for some fun Paris photo ideas or locations that aren’t boring or like every other person you see on the ‘gram, read on.
1. Eiffel Tower Street View That Isn’t Crowded (Yet)
Address: 5 Av. de Suffren
Okay so hopefully this blog post doesn’t make this area over-crowded…which is always the struggle with travel blogging. Personally, I always read blogs before a trip to get insider tips and tricks. Though when the “secret gets out” it sometimes makes places extra crowded or kind of a headache.
I will say that this street is popular already on Instagram, where I found it on a Reel. So at least I am not the one who made this area somewhat popular!
2. The Luxembourg Gardens
Chances are, you’ve heard or have been to the famous Parisian garden, the Jardin des Tuileries.
The Luxembourg Gardens (Jardin du Luxembourg) in Paris and the nearby area are truly gorgeous! The gardens surround the Luxembourg Palace, which was built in the year 1612 for Marie de’ Medici, the widow of King Henry IV.
The gardens and palace are located in the 6th arrondissement, or neighborhood, in Paris. There are beautiful pathways with various small gardens, and of course, the large garden in the middle directly in front of the palace.
The building is gated off but you can still enjoy the view. There are also many grassy areas where groups of friends and families will hang out or picnic at. On the tree-lined pathways, you will see many people jogging or doing other forms of exercise, like calisthenics - and we even saw two people practicing fencing!
